Customers often ask: "Isn't tallow heavy?" and "Why do you use tallow and lard in your soaps?" They also frequently inquire about the benefits of tallow. We use these ingredients for their incredible skin-loving properties, providing deep moisturization without a heavy feel.

How does someone order from Cerulean Soap & Scents, and what should they know about pick-up?
You can order through our Facebook page, email us at [[email]], or directly via our website. In-person pick-up can be arranged with prior notice upon ordering, once your order is confirmed.

What are the benefits of using tallow in your soaps?
Tallow is incredibly beneficial for the skin. It's rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K, and has a similar fatty acid profile to human skin, allowing for excellent absorption and intense moisturization. It helps to soothe and protect the skin, making it ideal for various skin conditions.

Do you offer vegan options for your products?
Not all of our products are vegan, as we utilize beneficial animal fats like tallow and lard in many of our soaps. However, some of our products are vegan, and others can be made vegan for a minimum $10 fee, starting at 2oz. Please inquire for specific product details.

What makes your products special for skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and keratosis pilaris?
We have curated a beautiful blend of fats and oils to target and soothe dry, itchy, irritated skin without the heavy, greasy feeling often associated with other products. Our hard bar soaps are particularly great for those with eczema, psoriasis, and keratosis pilaris.

Where do you source your ingredients?
We hand-pick where we purchase our ingredients, prioritizing quality over price. Everything is sourced locally here in the Lower Mainland, and most ingredients are right here in the heart of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada.

What other products do you make besides hard bar soaps?
On top of making hard bar soaps, we also craft other various products like whipped soap, body butters, lotion bars, and lotion dots. We are always expanding our knowledge of holistic remedies to incorporate into your daily lives.
